Inshore Flats and Bay Nearshore Gulf out to 9 miles. License, bait, and tackle are provided. It is recommended to bring food, drinks (alcohol allowed), sunscreen, and whatever else you may think you need. Light-soled shoes preferred. Clients are allowed to bring their own tackle and the captain can offer his own recommendations. The Fishy Business is a 2012 23’ Dorado with fully equipped Lowrance GPS & fish finder electronics.

Hello and Welcome Aboard!

It is “what do you want to fish for” time again. Just about everything that swims is on the prowl now off of Anna Maria. Big Sow sheepshead or in full spawn mode. Resident Tarpon are at the Sunshine Skyway. Snook and reds are on the shallow flats around the mangroves. Gator trout or on the deeper flats as well as spanish mackerel, pompano and bluefish. Just off the beaches the first kingfish of the year are starting their run. There are also reports of Cobia on the nearshore reefs. It is going to be an early spring with all the mild winter weather!I have open dates! Let’s go fishing!
